METALOCAIMA- Metalúrgica do Caima, S.A. is an enterprise whose main activity is the fabrication of Stainless Steel products and equipments. In parallel, the unit also produces carbon steel constructions. In the context of the Portuguese metal-mechanical industry, one can define METALOCAIMA as a small/medium fast developing company. The fact that it does not belong to any major economical group allows it to maintain a flexible and independent Organization, with a professional administration, capable of deciding quickly and efficiently. Our administrators are experienced professionals with the highest levels of competency and know-how. Put together, these grant the global capacity to produce not only the equipments that normally belong to our range of fabrication, but also to conceive and develop responses to any kind of specific solicitations our clients may have.
METALOCAIMA- Metalúrgica do Caima, S.A. was founded on July 1980, having its main activities based on the Fabrication, Installation and maintenance of Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel equipments for the Alimentary, Chemical, Wine making and Mineral Waters industries. The firm began laboring in its own facilities, located in S. Bartolomeu, Macieira de Cambra, Vale de Cambra. Recently, its headquarters has been transferred to Zona Industrial da Mata, Mansores. This meant an increase to the total area from 2000 m2 to 15 000 m2, and an increase to the covered area from 1250 m2 to 4000 m2. This way, we can better respond to the market’s and customer’s demands.
